I didn't post this lorry picture of my brother to scare the daylights out of people.
It's afterall,
still the festive season.

I posted this pic bcos I've got a family political story to tell
and I figured this attention-grabbing pic makes a great start!

When I got home last night,
my brother walked over to me and said,
for the second time this week.

"Cheh, I know u've been jobless for a week le. Let 老弟 take care of u "
and pressed a $10 note into my palm, insisting tt I keep it,
before going over to my mum and dad and giving them $10 each as well,
in a towkay style,
that is so unlike him.

And that was about 3/4 of his pay yesterday.

5 min later,
not to be outdone,
my dad walked over and gave me $50.

"Nah! Daddy also make contribution" (of cos he spoke in teochew)

I looked to mummy,
my usual financial backer.

"Don't look at me. My business (mahjong) making losses recently."
wow.
I never knew my family's a strong believer in welfare states.

So happily,
I said,

"Thanks guys!!!I've decided not to work le!!I shall just concentrate on my studies while u support me!!!"

Both men immediately looked like they've just shitted in their pants.

So much for welfare states...... -_-!!

My family is pro-govt afterall.

It's just workfare bonus.
